During the course of the First World War Russia found itself in turmoil, heavy losses both in money and human life, caused severe shortages of food and this allowed Russia to explode into revolution in 1917. In fact this year saw TWO revolutions, the second revolution known as the October Revolution or the Bolshevik Revolution saw for the first time in history Communism put into practice. This changed the world forever and led to the deaths of tens of millions of people. To learn more about this momentous event, watch the presentation below.
